At the north gateway, a tabby-concrete sculpture spelling Lift Evry Voice and Sing rises over a mist fountain, and Brian Owens' Getting it Done sculpture sits among the garden rooms.

Bring a leashed dog for a walk through the gardens, lawn, and seating. It is a cultural pause on Lee Street, not a fenced play yard. The park opens at sunrise and closes at sundown, so plan the visit as a daylight stop between Northbank and Riverside moves.
