Aviles Street Shops — Historic District

Aviles Street is a narrow brick-paved street in the heart of St. Augustine's Historic District and one of the city's oldest streets. Coquina walls, balconies, courtyards, galleries, small shops, restaurants, and historic buildings give this short corridor a character that feels distinctly different from the busier streets nearby.

Today, Aviles is home to galleries, working artists, pottery studios, boutiques, restaurants, and several historic museums. On the first Friday of each month, galleries participate in the neighborhood's Art Walk, adding another reason to include the street while exploring Historic Downtown.

Dogs can walk the public street with you, while pet policies inside individual galleries, restaurants, museums, and shops vary by establishment. The Historic Downtown Parking Facility is a nearby public parking option within walking distance.
