On Park Street in Historic Five Points Riverside, BARK on PARK has run as an urban dog campus since September 2009: a natural-food boutique up front and supervised daycare, boarding, grooming, and training behind it. Daycare uses more than 4,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with rubber flooring, artificial grass, individual suites, and room for dogs to socialize, play, swim, and sunbathe under staff watch.

New dogs need current shot records and a one-time temperament test before group daycare or boarding, and males over a year old must be neutered for those group programs. Reservations run through a Gingr account, boutique hours stretch early on weekdays through evening, and Sunday boutique and daycare open at noon.

Stock the shelves for natural food and baked treats, book a groom, or leave the dog for a supervised day while you walk Riverside Park and John Gorrie Dog Park a few blocks away. It is a full-service Riverside dog stop, not a single-aisle pet aisle.
