A Street Beach Access is where St. Augustine Beach meets the sand at the east end of A Street, near Beachcomber Restaurant. This public access point offers ocean views, with a nearby City parking lot, restrooms, showers and a Mobi Mat providing access toward the beach.

Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach, including in the water, with leashes up to 12 feet. Vehicles enter the beach at A Street and travel south along a designated driving lane, so keep your dog clear of the ramp and vehicle traffic.

If you're exploring by scooter, enjoy the coastal view from the paved public approach. You do not need to leave your scooter or walk onto the sand to complete your Explorer stop.
