ECoVets Veterinary Specialists and Emergency

ECoVets Veterinary Specialists and Emergency is a multi-specialty animal hospital in northern St. Johns County serving pet owners throughout the St. Augustine area and Northeast Florida. The facility combines emergency veterinary care with specialty services including surgery, critical care, nephrology, radiology, advanced diagnostics, and surgical treatment.

The Emergency Department is open daily from 6 am to midnight. No referral or appointment is required for emergency care, and calling ahead at (904) 417-8589 is encouraged when possible. The Emergency Department is not open for new arrivals from midnight to 6 am, so Explorers needing veterinary emergency care during those hours should seek another open emergency facility.

Specialty appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and may require a referral from a primary veterinarian. Hospitalized patients can receive overnight monitoring by the critical care team.
